When we opened in 2006 we had six rooms, a kitchen, and a single principle: guests are not units of revenue, they are people we have asked into our home. 20 years later we have 100 keys, two restaurants and a casino floor — and that principle has not shifted by an inch.
There is a right way to do this work and a wrong way. Over 20 years we have chosen one path and stayed with it. Every person on our team — from the front desk to the kitchen porters — has been selected, trained and retained because they share the same sense of what excellence looks like. A building alone cannot create that. It comes from people.
